the pic i have of the bis with leather seats isnt great, but its good enough. i will be going back to the ace cafe soon though for a BMW night so i will get some better pics then (it belongs to someone who works there).

have to be abarth, you could get other makes. I'm sure you could get a pancake filter from somewhere.
You should be able to get a better exhaust from lots of places. lots of exhaust require pipe bending for them to fit cars. a stainless steel system (full system) would not only sound good but if a bigger bore should add some bhp.
i expect it possible to get uprated cams (camshafts), i would have though kent cams would have made one but by looking at their website (
http://www.kentcams.com/index.htm) they dont. try looking around on more european sites, one will turn up somewhere.
Then you can get a ported / polished head which adds BHP.
Does the 126 have a cat? if it does you could remove it which would make a big increase but you would have to re-fit it for every MOT.
Like lots of cars out, there are loads of ways to improve you car, make it faster and more efficient but you dont always need named brand parts.
