Not a Fiat storey but I have been messing with Sunbeam Talbots for about 35 years but getting rid of the last remnants this year so I can concentrate on the baby Fiats.
A guy contacted the Sunbeam Talbot club recently to say that there was a a 1947 2 Litre Saloon (very rare car) and his Mum was going to have it scrapped if no one would remove it from the garage so it was for sale. I think that the guy who bought it got it for a song & that car had been in the garage for 42 years
The new owner came by my place as I just happened to have two offside doors that he wanted for the resto and he reckons that he will have it on the road at the end of August [-/
