engine plus bits
« on: April 28, 2010, 09:43:35 PM »
i have had a 1108cc engine with carb, gearbox mateing plate, and exhaust that i bought from hudson sitting in my garage for some time i have had the intention of fitting it to my project car when i get it to the stage where i shall need power however i have had a lovely letter from HMRC and now find myself in a position where this is not going to be happening for a long time. i am therefore advertising this for sale if any members who require such a package are interested then contact me via pm and i will discuss freely. i paid £420 for this so would be looking to recoup this as it has never been used and simply stored in a dry garage and the engine has been regularly turned.
sorry to go down this route but it needs to go .

As offered to Bis13, with this comes all the advice and help I can give with regards to fitting, either to a spec that does or does not require IBVA test.

I'm in the process of building a second Fire engined 500, this time a 1284cc running twin 40's which has no modifications to the shell (cutting) so will avoid any tests but still manages to look radical.

Shame, was looking forward to the finished project. Though as we all know sometimes needs as must,.
