i live in leicester does anyone know where i can get a bettery from ?

ive rang halfords and they have one at £44 ?? seem dear to me although i havent brought a battery in ages???

rang a local motor factors and they have a 3 year garenteed battery that they call a budget one for £36

what prices have you and do you lot pay and where from please?

Richard you should'nt pay any more than £25 for a battery.I hate buying batteries :x Try Brown Brothers they are a UK wide motor factors.

hi there save your money goto your local scrap yard i paid 10 plus vat for a brand new battery. you get people that crash brand new cars so they take the batterys of them and sell them on

thanks for all the info ..

i have decided to buy a battery from my local parts people ..

with discount comes to £30 , not too bad i suppose

i know scrappys will be less, but would just be my luck to by one not suitabe or damaged and waste my money

and i know paul sugested brown brothers. i may use them for my fiat 500 battery .

as i am sure your awre the car is now a runner :) , yipeeee after  ( john) darkhorse came and paid me a visit

they test the batterys state for you also you get a recipt too.

mines a halfords one so i could be really cheeky and take it back to them if i had any problems lol there 3 year gurantee

well the one ive got new from local motor factors is a bosch , so thats a well known brand so it should be fine
