As has been said, it's just helpful, friendly advice from the people who buy and sell these cars on a regular basis. If I have one bad thing to say about the advert, I'd say that the crunchy first gear is not a common fault with the(se) car(s), but instead a common fault with the driver(s) not knowing that the car doesn't have synchro in 1st.
