There are so few of these 126 cabrios around in the UK (and elsewhere?). Low mileage and looking amazingly new, it will probably sell quite well (even in LHD), I think. Interestingly, the seller has no problems having it MoT'd here. There are threads regarding the risk of not being able to MoT Polish 126s post 1993 in the UK because of these cars not meeting UK (and EU without cat modifications) cat emmissions.

Can someone tell me what that mini fuel tank (?) is for on the left side of the engine bay?

 It looks like it might be for independent heating-just a guess. The car looks lovely. Wondering what it`ll finish on. I can imagine the reserve price is set quite high.

I have a nice chat with the guy. Reserve is set at £2900, it really was set as some two polish blokes came around today, gave him deposit (small one he said) and he promissed to keep it till monday afternoon 6pm. He said they looked like thay might not come I asked him why - he said they weren't real enthusiasts and didnt check anything (of course they weren't as in Poland they cost about £4000 in this shape and condition nowdays). So trade.
Just in case I put myself in a queue we will see what I could negotiate, swap or mixed if they won't be back

The tank in the corner is to do with emissions control. I think its a carbon filter? You can see pipes going to the carb. Thing is, carbs and CATs just dont really get on, Lada did it and they are a nightmare at times.
Stick with the pre CAT stuff... simples! Have to say £2900 is a very good price though if its a real Bosmal.
