I've just purchased the '84 126 recently advertised on ebay
so am now a fully fledged member of the 126 community. [-/
I haven't collected the car yet but after speaking to the seller on the phone he thinks the only things needed to get through the MOT (apart from the welding!) will be a new wing mirror (as the glass is missing) and headlights (as the reflectors have rusted).
I'd really love an earlier chrome mirror but anything will do for now to get through the test.
I'm sure it will probably need other bits and bobs once I actually have a good look at her.
I plan to make her look a little older and classic looking so am also after a set of early chrome bumpers (in any condition), clear indicator lenses, chrome doorhandles etc. and basically anything transferable from an early 126.
oh,and an old roofrack!
I can't wait to give her a service and get her on the road
(really looking forward to slamming her and putting some nicer wheels on her too, eventually!)
