Lovely car. It has got most, if not all the modifications one could wish for in a classic 500. The desirability factor is definitely strong but, I think, a bit overpriced. But if I had lots of spare cash and being a Fiat enthusiast, would I buy it? Maybe.

Your orange one was one of the best examples that I have seen. It was tempting but I already have 2 126 BIS, one of which I am trying to sell. If I sold my other BIS, I would have had bid on your orange 126 to the end. I think I may have contacted you on this. I thought i had a sure buyer for my other one but alas, the buyer pulled out.  >:(

Prices for the 500s appear to be on the rise, perhaps due to the relaunch of the 500. The car looks quite new. Too exorbitant for me.

According to the description, it is an unrestored, 'D' they're rare enough as is, but I haven't seen one that hasn't had some restoration. I do wonder though, when cars are this rare, if the price is just plucked out of the air as there is no point of comparison. That price could get you 2 or 3 very well restored 500's!

Looks like I've been top trumped!!
I think the Abarth is probably better value, I spotted that about a month ago, and it must be only the second genuine Abarth I've seen for sale, far rarer than a well looked after 500, still I think £38K could buy a bit more fun though!

just checked reg online and its been offorad and untaxed since 2007 ????

The 595 Abarth looks good. There was a Fiat Abarth 1000TC (the model is a Fiat 600D) that sold for 28K. If you had to buy one of the Abarth Fiats which would you choose?
