Proud New Owner of a Polski 126
« on: November 18, 2009, 10:49:24 PM »
Hello,

nice to have found some likeminded fellas to share with.

My history with the 126 started last week when I entered the Gran Turismo Classico from Poznan to Stockholm. 3 days and almost a 1000 miles in a late model 126p. There were 30 of us that left Poland, 17 made it to Stockholm and those of us that did got to keep the car.
You can read more about it on www.thecartorialist.com

Before I start fixing her up (her name's Katarzyna after the previous owner), I have to try and get her registered in Sweden which seems easier said than done. I'll make sure to let you know the progress. However, I have  already started scouring Axel Gerstl for parts and upgrades.

Thanks very much.
There are plans for a new rally in May going southwards however there's the small obstacle of getting them legally registered first. I'll let you know the details if anyone of you feel like coming along.

Time for me to start hanging in the tuning section.

Cheers!
