Does anyone know the scope for fitting alloy wheels to a 126 Deaville ie what tyre limits (on 12x5 rim ?) or is there a similar wheel on something else? not sure of the stud and flange arrangements or the best offset.
Cheers

Hi brian, this is a conundrum im also pondering so if you get any info could you please let us know. I have managed to track down some of this info, you can fit 13 inch alloy which is good if you want to go to disc brakes but it does need low profile tyres, i have tried several sets of normal 13 inch alloys but they dont have a recess big enough for the bearings to sit in. This is unfortunately as far as i have got, not enough infact almost nothing but if it helps save you a couple o quid good. ta for now shagmeister

Hi 'S'
My reason for the query is simply to fit 12" alloys to the original hubs. I know the Mini Cooper 'Minilite' type are close and look really good but not close enough. I really want to establish a regular upgrade for the 126 which looks in keeping. A Nicely restored set of steel wheels with the centre caps is always prefered but like so many classics a minilite alternative can be very acceptable and add a liitle 'sass'
Cheers

hi guys, newbie dave here,if you want some tasty bolt on alloys, try and find a set of 5 1/2jx13 cromadoras, fit 165/55's and they go rite on,they were fitted to 130 sports/124 sports etc,a fiat part that looks the biz and fits straight on
