Custom dials (on a budget)
« on: October 22, 2009, 09:20:59 AM »
Hi guys,

I thought I would post this as I get little bits done as it may help others to go for it over winter.

I was going to get a company I used for my beach buggy to make a new speedo face in stainless, They would definatly do it but it would cost between £45-£65!!

I went for the budget option and got some vinyl from work (im a signmaker) I had to rub down the face as the thin material showed the old numbers through it.

I layed on the brushed aluminium effect first, then measured and cut a matt black half circle and layed it on.  I am in the process of getting the numbers done on the QT !!

Its abit fiddly taking it all apart but hopefully well worth it? What say you guys?
