Hi guys and gals,

I have a plate on my dash that has the switches in and a stereo, i am getting rid of the stereo and wish to fit a couple of dials?! Was thinking a rev counter and oil temp?!
What would you guys suggest and with the rev counter i can not find one for a two stroke engine, can anyone help??
I want small (50mm or less)


Also just remembered can i get a bigger carb for the engine, as all i have seen is a "large bore" carb from a specialist.
I want to uprate the engine abit without striping it down completly.

It obviously does appear to be quite large though, certainly bigger than 50mm.

Yer thanks i did find that but your right a bit big. So a motorbike one could be the way to go then?!

I bought my Harley tacho from ebay, £15 I think, works well, I also got the matching speedo still to calibrate it.  All looks good still to fabricate the new dash for it all to fit in.

hi, your engine isnt 2 stroke...its 2 cylinder....unless youve done a swop?, anyway, the rev counter to use for the stock engine is the harly sportster one......it even has the correct (ish) red line.....and more importantly is used to low power and lots of vibration !!!! hahahaha 

i mounted mine in a pod (old bean can) using a home made bracket to the top left side of my polski dash, in my eyeline. i mounted a capillery oil press gauge underneath it in the same manner...

a small 2'' rev counter is pretty much useless.......if your gunning through the gears you need to be able to see out the corner of your eye your self inflicted rpm limit....squinting at a 2'' gauge is pretty much a waste of time......
