Lowering 126p...

I have standard 135*12 tires*rims on my 1986, and standard shocks... now I would like to get my 126 little lower... does anyone have experience with that?

for the front get a reverse eye leafspring or get the original reworked this will normally drop around 30mm plus.
you can grind down the leafspring mounts getting around 10mm lower again. you can use the rear shocks on the front too as these are shorter and harder than the normal front dampers.
 as for the rear then cut the coils by one full coil or if you wish to go lower take another half off however this will make the coil sit in the wrong place and you may need to fix the spring to the body to stop it moving when you jack the car up, or if you wish buy some lowered uprated springs from a good tuning company.

I had my leaf spring relaxed a bit and then just flipped it; however this means that the limit of the slam is the shockers being bottomed out and lends itself to something of a po-go esq ride, but its great fun.  For the back i simpy cut 2 coils out; he sits about 3 inch off the ground - which isnt enough to get a trolley jack under!  For a pucka job you can get adjustable front coil-overs from blitz and then fabricate a tie bar for keeping the track together (there is a track swing bar kit on a few of the better parts sites, but it aint cheap) - I know mines a BIS but the principle is the same.

I'm sure ive seen some 125/70/12's somewhere, you could always have a pair of those stretched onto the fronts if you are really eager.
