CINQUECENTO SPORTING ALLOY WHEELS & TYRES 165/55/13

Hello! Will the alloy wheels and tires from a Cinquecento Sporting fit a Fiat 126 Bis without the need to modifiy the wheel arches?

I'm in the same situation. I'm convinced 165\55\13 will fit. But they are an expensive size.
165\65\13 has a far better range of tires at much cheaper prices. But I'm unsure how they will fit.

all i know that 155/65/13 fit the bis snugly, (i have them) the cinq rims should fit too  [-/

MyTyres sell 165x55x13 for around 30 quid each including VAT and Shipping 165x60x13 do fit but they rub the inner arches.
They have a fitting service, just put your postcode into the box, this will give you the cost of fitting, and the nearest fitting bay, usually about 8 Quid a tyre

Many thanks for the responses so far. I am a novice when it comes to tire specifications. All I know is that, "13" translates to the tire size or rim size but what does the other numbers relate to? Does "55" relate to the width or thickness of the tire? There is an opportunity to buy the above alloys and wheels from a breakers yard but it might not fit or will rub in the inner arches. Come to think of it, it came from a Cinquecento Sporting that has been scrapped and crushed - quite sad.

13" is the diameter of the wheel rim excluding tyres. 165 is the width of the tyre (in milimeteres) and 55 is the height of the tyre wall (expressed as a %age of the width).

I don't know the english word for it, but this "55" is called a kind of cross section ratio. Tires without this number have a cross section ratio of 80. This means, a 135-12 has to be calculated with 80, as it would be 135/80-12. Just, if you want to compare, or want to use a tire calculator, where you have to name the ratio, too.

In the UK (and US as well I think) it's referred to as 'profile', hence low-profile tyres

I have both cars, I offered the Cinq wheels up one time, I think it would be fine, but do not try to use the cinq bolts because the thread pitch is different, and I would not recommend using the 126 bolts, because the alloy wheel is much thicker and in my opinion you therefore need a longer bolt.

The limiting factor on tyre diameter I think is the bottom front part of the front arch, just behind the bumper.  I have some 145/70 13 on at the moment which is a bit bigger and I had a bit of a rub on one side, not because of width but because of diameter.

I run  13" 5J Cromodora rims and have 155 x 65 R13s on the back, but they rubbed far too much at the front. I have been running 145 x 60 R13 Michelin compacts on the front and they are absolutely perfect. They are a little expensive and hard to find, but hopefully with the increased interest in small cars they may become more commonplace. My Camber is also slightly buggered on one side at the front, so one tyre doesn't quite last as long as it should. 1000miles max i'd say
