Custom seat covers

Anybody ever made their own or had some made up by an upholsterer? I've been looking at various vinyl/leather/denim shops on e-bay and the price is appealing but I'm curious as to how difficult it might be to 'fabricate' (</4) some from scratch

 </4 </4 </4 it shouldnt be hard, for some1 with some sowing experience, since i have none i never tried to do this. but i do plan to have it done sooner or later...  [-/

I got my girlfriend to make me some rear set covers to match the cobra classic seats I had fitted in the front. If you have a partner, I'd highly recommend getting them to make some up. Despite it taking her ages as she kept losing interest, it is great now as she is so proud of her work and it keeps her interested in the car as she has 'contributed' to it

I don't have a partner, but I do have a mother with a sewing machine that she hasn't used for a while so I'm sure I could employ her

I'm quite tempted to give it a bash myself tbh, hmm ...

It looked pretty easy - we just took off the old mouldy and ripped covers and made a pattern from them.
I'll try and get some pictures up soon

my seats are custom the lady who owned it before took them covers off and put fur on them not bad job really
