They do look shiney but I can tell you that the paintwork is pretty poor & I have a number of issues with the design. I know because I bought these & have been running them since last year. They solved a lot of problems for me at the time which was good & they are still working fine but I stripped mine down last week to see how they got them to fit the 12" rims & some of the things I found were quite worrying. When I finish the 12" rim set up I am working on I will be doing a switch [-/
