Go faster stripes

Hey guys.
My little BIS ha flown through it's MOT today. Well I say flown through what I mean is it only failed on a headlight bulb.
As a result of this I have a little spare cash for tidying it up a bit. I've already got a set of spotlights on order and am on a promise for a set of minilites.

But I really want the stripe decal seen on a few 126s.
Same as this one but I want it in black.





Are these still available here in the UK or will I have to order out? Can I even buy them or will I have to find somewhere to get them made up?


I did search but all the threads of promise seem to die out without a proper solution.

I would be willing to bet that these were sprayed on. Paint jobs are very cheap in PL. My back to metal job on my camper van was only £400 including seam rust and the paint.

I would actually be more than willing to give that ago.

But figure it might be best to see if there is any pre cut stickers out there.

i think the one in the picture has a stick on vynil, you can tell on the bonnet cos it wasnt positioned perfectly, if it were painted it would cover the end of the bonnet...  [-/

id do it the old fashined way, some self adhesive black vynil, cut and stick

go to any automotive vinyl sticker company and they will measure and knock these out for you you could prepare a paper template to make it cheaper if you wish .
