For sale is my Polski Fiat 126p. Car was made in FSM factory in Poland in June 1983 - in lovely "brick orange" colour - original colour code 200. He left factory after standard check-up on the 20th June and was registered to the new owner on 7th July 1983. So it is already almost 26 years. Big time. From then it survived in his original condition. Nothing was change in it and nothing replaced except fluids, break shoe and possibly other service parts which are used with time. He did 41.000km (around 27.000 miles) so as you can count it is average of 1000 miles a year. Amazing.

Car was bought by an old army officer going for his retirement. He was already 57 years old by that time. He used to drive fiat just few times every year (polish holidays and bank holidays + some family occasions). Fiat was garaged all the time and never ever used in winter. Around 12 years ago owner decided to put fiat in the garage for longer due to the health problems. So last 12 years fiat was in use just few times!!! But still every year check up and polish MOT was done along with some rustproofing. According to the owner rustproofing was done very year from new and there is no reason do not believe it as condition of the floors, chassis and body is just amazing. No rust at all, some of rustproofing still there (black places on the body visible in pictures) and still factory rust cover underneath. So for its age fiat is just immaculate with some small scratches and two small dents but don’t even remember where  8) Biggest scratch is on the front bonnet – tried to mark it up with red sign on the picture in online album. Otherwise SUPERB.
Chrome bumpers are original and looks very very good. On these grey wheels he left factory so it was 26 years – there are some slight marks on them.
Fiat has an 600cc Italian engine (they had some of them left for a last edition – as you can imagine owner as high rank officer was a member of the communist party and they were still treated “better” than others – so they benefit from a version with better engine even if FSM didn’t put them anymore at this stage). It is in very good original state, ticking over like a Swiss watch.

Interior is like new with no even one rip or crack. Seats and carpet are in lovely light brown colour and seats are faux-leather of course. There is original SAFARI 5 radio they put in fiats, set of original rubber mats from Stomil Company (official supplier for FSM) and it is the same set he bought with the car (!!). As extras fiat has steering wheel cover (on one picture), yellow bulbs (he had yellow from the first day) and D124 Stomil tyres (the same model which factory put on it). Fully loaded with original parts as you see.

Everything in this amazing fiat works, every switch and every screw works as it was design to. Nothing more, nothing less.
Summary is: it is an example almost impossible to find even in Poland now days in its state and condition. Looks almost like rolled of production line yesterday but isn’t perfect as you can see. I am pretty sure it is only one so original maluch in England.
If you have any questions please ask. Will be happy to answer them all or send more pictures if this isn’t enough.
Car is still on polish plates, I do have a polish logbook and couple of papers with it. If you would be interested please get in touch and I could possibly register it here for you. It is an easy and simple process.

Please do not ask how much I want for it. Offers only. All of you here know how hard is to find one of these and what they are worth. If you feel you are interested please come and have a look. We can talk. If you feel like want to make me an offer – I am open – PM me please. If I will see what I want to see it will be yours  :D I am realist but if wont get enough here will try elsewhere. Though will give it a week here, alway better to sell to a real enthusiast.

BTW: what all of you think it could be worth? I have an idea but curious what do you think. Wanted to offer my fiat for sale here first but if no interest I will put it on Ebay as well. All advices are welcome.

All the best for all FIAT family here  :D and sorry for my English.

Late afternoon I will take my baby for a longer drive in my area as weather is just lovely. Will add some "driving experience comments" when back.

Just one question i can think of? Why are you selling it?? the price can only go up, and selling it during a recession isnt wise?

No need for confusion really. I have some of them as I said and also 3 other classics (one sold yesterday) and no place what so ever. Orange one is beautiful and superb but still not enough "old" for me. And I have some serious project going on with one of them - 1200cc going in  8)
And first of all - I am not a rich guy so need to finance my hobbies somehow. Cant have everything  :(
In subject of dealing with cars - If you need any of these small fiats I can help and trust me - just to help not to rear money.
When I will bring all of them here (and I will) it is sure I will have to sell something more to finish one or two of them to the top standard.

okay sorry if i came across in a negative way now i understand and am sorry to hear that you have no storage space there isnt a real indicator of prices here really as some great cars go for peanuts and some go for good honest prices
if you have a figure in your head then keep to it but if your serious about selling then you need to reveal what price you think should be attained as its not a good policy to wait for offers .

No worries,
Well, I know offers may not be the best tactic but I really don't know... And as every car enthusiast (even if enthusiastic dealer at the moment) I would love to keef it a little so will try to make this moment longer  8) forgive me.
Anyway I put it on Ebay and lets see what happens. If I won't have enough luck to get to my desire reserve price will try to sell another one maybe. Little worse shape but still classicly beautiful.
And this way I will keep orange as it is really hard to find one even back in my country.

your other car must be pretty special, if you're keeping it over this one. any pics?

also, with a car like this make sure it goes to someone who'll take proper care of it.

money cant buy style, but it can buy a 126, which is the next best thing. :P ;) [-/

Hi there,
Maluch just flew through it's MOT this morning. Went to the garage, came back.... ticking over just lovely.
Just to add - if somebody would be interested to have it as is with MOT already done I could sell it for around £1800 ono.
I think it is a good price for its superb condition - maybe slightly high for a maluch but I just decided if i won't get this sort of money I will keep it  8)
If I wont have enough money to finish another thing I started he will stay in my garage. At least for some time longer.

Best 126 in the UK, Mmmm What about Kermit? I think pictures are still on the gallery.

I think bidders were put off by the auction changing, first the car was UK registered then it changed to Polish papers supplied. Then the winning bidder wasn't sold the car anyway. The many watchers will be very worried about bidding a second time.

Shame it didn't sell as a nice aircooled.

Well, I did a little mess but not for a purpose. I am even happy  8) place is important but maybe I found solution....
In next days my other one coming here. It is 903cc engine watercooled and I did a little bit of racing with it last years. So body is "tired" but no dramat at all. Thinking about taking 650cc out of orange one (with gearbox) and swap all system including disc brakes from the other one. Racing seats.
Then finish it off with some nice wheels and wrrrrr go!!!  [-/
