Hi

new to this - may have found some alloys but they are 5.5j - R13's - are these ok to use? or will they scrape>

I was advised to go for 5j originally...?any advice will be helpful - thanks.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but in the same vain, can anyone tell me the following ref Wheels tyres.

Standard wheels/tyres are 135/70x13 for the BIS on ?" Wheels, 4 stud on ? PCD and ? Offset.

I have some 5.5" x 13" Campagnolia Alfa Alloys that i was intending to fit as i believe the PCD for Alfa/Lancia/Fiat of that period is 98mm, hence compatible. The Alfa offset is 45mm.

Cheers

Only thing I don't know for sure is the offset (ET), however you're bang on with the PCD @ 4x98. 13x5.5J should fit no bother as I've seen Cinq alloys on 126's before and they are 13x5.5j (165/55 tyres). The Cinq alloys have an offset of 27.5 so if they fit without spacers then there's your answer.

I'm not going to say just now - I'll have a look when I get home and (if it works) take a couple of pics  [-/

I bought my brother a set of original VW Scirocco Scala wheels for his Xmas as a little refurb project. Unfortunately, the Scirocco suffered catastrophic gearbox death last week so he's given up on it and gone back to his Mk2 Golf. Now I know for a fact he didn't want to put the alloys on the Golf ... so ... they'd need some pretty low profile rubber, and possibly arch extensions ... but it could work  :o

They're 14x6j btw ... ET38

Resprayed at some point, not very well I must say - bit of the interior are still the original cream/beige colour. And yes, the probably are a bit too wide but hey, a boy can dream ;)
