 :) On holiday & in Swanage library at the moment. Well worth the trip up to see you guys & put more faces to names . Great to meet Pete , Stuey & Darrell. Could not find Mick when | Got there then realised that he was probably lining up for a track run & he was. I got there just in time to see the 3 laps , GREAT  [-/
Masive bonus was getting the twin choke Holley (Weber 30 DIC type) carb for £10 off one of the few autojumble stalls. It looked pretty crap & rusted solid but when I got back to the flat the owner had left a tin of 3 in 1 oil there along with a basic tool kit so within an hour or so I had stripped & checked out most of it & freed off the main butterfly but could not shift the second one so left it over night. Just got back on it after lunch & got that sorted too. Good news is the carb is complete apart from one stud & a tiny split pin , one thread needs a helicoil but there is no play at all on the butterfly spindles so it has had little use  :) :)

Great to meet up again, The RR show keeps getting better each year! sorry i was'nt in Freddy but he will be sorted some time this week :D

Considering the power diference...23hp versus huge horsepower in some of those cars, and considering this is probably one of the forst times a 126 has seen a track in this country apart from the heavily modified V8, I'd say with a little more practice it would be a very respectable time [-/

Also they said the class would be the same as a 2CV..well looks like the BMW 2002 was shown the way ;)....and he looked faster! [-/

Forgot to add, I pulled Freddy Fiats engine out today replaced the flywheel sorted out the alternator, and he's all fitted and working again, Yipee :P
