Still havnt fit mine yet either!  I got them from Poland but i ordered a few because it was more cost effective.  Here is the blitz buggy link page which has the link to the company that make them http://pages.zoom.co.uk/blitzracing/links.htm it was quite a hastle arranging delivery etc but it worked out ok in the end!

i have a rev meter for a diesel engine (lower rev scale). which runs by a sensor reading magnets which turn on the v belt pulley. where you would get one i really dont know though!!

any 2 cylinder rev counter will do, a Harley sportster one is perfect, its used to vibration and low power out puts hehehehehe

seriously tho, it has a red line on 5500 rpm, which is spot on for an aircooled, and if you tune the motor, you can take it into the red....very satisfiying.....ive seen 7k rpm in anger with my mildly tuned 652cc !!......they do pop up on ebay from time to time...

i mounted mine in a (empty) boduelle bean can...then made a brkt to mount it above and to the left of the dash pod.....

the guy who has my ex blue buzzbomb 2 will have the wiring info inside the haynes manual i gave him, i wrote it inside the front cover.....

its a worthwhile mod...

Guys, Back in 1989 through to 1992 I used to run my old 126 back and forth to cardiff, upto nottingham and off folowing the Radio 1 Roadsow where I got smily miley to sign the bonnet.  I used to tweak the timing and run slik 50 through it and get it upto 85 mph on the motorway, hand throttle pulled right up and me relaxing with my feet out of the passenger window.

Wot sort of revs would that have been pushing?  is that why I got through 3 engines? 1 baked itself coz I dropped a spark plug into the cooling fan stripping the fins, 1 to a head gaskit and 1 catostophic failier when a piston shot out of the bottom of the sump as I made my way over bodmin moore!

Good fun though!  8)
