oil coolers are easy to fit, you need the timing cover machined out to take the return feed, the ones from italy for the aircooled have an adapter to take a spin on filter too....the feed out the block is straight forward too
the above info is for aircooled engines...a complete kit is availible for the a/c cars..... i would say its a great help, also fit a larger sump...dont forget cars are cooled by oil too......
i like the mesh rear panel......buzz 1 and 2 nearly had that, in the end i went for a split and raised boot lid with oil cooler mounted in the out going air stream.....my boot lid was powered so i could warm her up easier.....then with a press of a button the lid would raise.....
as a foot note....my 850 abarth studies show a small but wide water radiator mounted under and to the front of the gearbox.......i wonder if bis's would benifit from this mod?.............bis owners should study the abarth modifications to the 600 and 850 cars to aid cooling.....some good tips there....
