The double bubble had two 'bubbles' in the roof to allow for long slabs like me

But Rusty you may be right as I seem to remember from somewhere they did a 500 engined one but I think it more famous as a 750.
There were different variants and judging by the photos etc on google some had overiders on the front, some not but in my mind one of those inspiring rear engined vehicles all in honour of the god of speed [-/
When I was a younger lad, there was an old boy who lived a couple of blocks away from me who had something that looked pretty much like that. As I was then more interested in bikes than cars i didnt take too much notice. He was a great help to me as I was then re-building a '56 AJS Model 18 which I still have. His workshop was a place of wonder with machines to grinding valves, rebore blocks, lathe and milling machine, car hoist, bike ramp you name it but all good old gear. Ah the smell of that workshop...His collection was vast and all imaculate.
One thing is for sure, that car might be worth it's weight in gold if you had one now
