Ok a clue, it is Japanese, think of a WRC car manufacturer.  Has a similar name to the nickname this manufacturer's WRC car and road car are called.

Yep the Rex is correct, early seventies model.  I actaully thought the shape would give it away.  Looks like the old ugly duckling Subaru 4wds we used to get here ...... or am I just showing my age.

Oh Bugger!  the name is greek for "Without wings".  Its electric and is being produced in California. Someone else find one now?
