On the other hand have the rollocks been removed for the sake of this picture and this little motor could be driven home from the mainland?

Close! same sort of age. Only about 5 of these were ever made.. they were deemed unroadworthy and then updated with a 250cc motor and different names  ;)

It's powered by a rear mounted, air cooled, 356cc, v-twin engine delivering about 16 hp.
