Ok, a hint or two: made in Europe, very rare (i don't think it went for sale so it's like a concept car) based on another cars chassis from the same manufacturer and designed by someone well known.

Ok, i think this hint will make it easier to search for the car or may even be a give away :)  The colour of the car  (or shade of the colour)  was used by a particular manufacturer... (the photo i think is in 256 colours).

It is a 1938 Talbot Lago T23 also called the teardrop (at first i thought it was a 1936 Delahaye 135...)

I think that is correct, and guess what, I actually sat in that very car at the Paris Retromobile show some years ago. The interior is trimmed with ostrich leather. Fantastic!

It's a Talbot T150c ss Figoni.
There was a very similar T150, Poulin body. (Poulin was shot as a spy by the Nazis!)
