Hi!

I am new in this forum and not a native English! We have a sports-team in Hungary, and we are building an electric driven P126 for racing purposes. You can see some picures on www.ev-sport.hu

I joined this forum because we have a problem. We intend to speed-up the steering by changing the connection of tie-rods. However to do this we should also turn the idler arm by 180degree, or change it to a right hand side driven fiat126's idler arm. Is there anyone in this forum who can make a photo of a steering assy, in which the idler arm can be seen? I just would like to see how is it assembled in UK models.

Hy, and welcome to the forum. Im sorry i cant help you cos my bis is LHD, but im sure other rhd owners will...

as ive seen before you guys in hungary have quite a 126 scene set up... lucky you....

Welcome to the club126uk forum.

Here is a pic of a rhd idler and a rhd drive steering box. I think that this is the only differences in the rhd/lhd drive setup? Perhaps another member can offer a better photo?

Another option may be the rack and pinion setup fitted to some of the later 126's

Chris! Do you know someone having spare idler arm and steering arm? I would need just the arrowed pieces.

What sort of a range do you get out of those batteries?

The motors are IL18 airplane engine starters. Unfortunately their efficiency is very low, we intend to change them to some new one designed by ourselves.

I do not know the range, we never tried. I guess it can be around 20-30km.
