hey all

hey im new to all this iv liked fiat 126s for a while now but im restoring a mk1 escort so nt got money to buy one but soon as the escort is back on the road should be xmas :) its time for another project so i was thinking of a bike engined 126. has anyone on hear done this before?

welcome to the forum...

its been done ( youtube has many examples) there was a hill climber in max power a while back too..
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

ha ha could never ditch the escort i know how much its owrth and how much im spending on it lol

nice one does any1 no bout running gear n that cause the engine is already in the back on 126s aint it?

With all due respect, the mk1 Escord is pretty cool.

However.....birds really go for the 126.

Just ask any female to choose between the two cars, and I guarantee they will choose the Fiat.

OK so it was a 5.7Litre with 500 BHP but he also says the Escort is 750BHP
Yes the 126 does win. :shock:

So simple answer to the Escort or 126 question, better at pulling away, as well as at pulling the birds. :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

ha ha i dnt wnt to ditch the escort thing is im wanting it as another toy once the escort is done so it keeps me busy tho the winter n sumer if we get 1. how much do they sell for as i wnt 1 that has mot n tax cause i wouldnt mind driving it a bit 1st geting bored of my golf aswell lol

the running gear on the fiat wont really take much extra bhp the gearboxes are inherently weak, chain drive is the possible answer (my research continure on this...)
