How do everyone, I'm slaveunit, but people outside the cyberspace call me Paul... Slaveunit was a band I played in about 10 years ago, but I've used the name online since...

I'm the very proud owner of a J reg 126 bis as of 2 days ago. Bought for 350 as a non mot'd runner, with the intention of giving it to my mum as a birthday present, but with all the cool things you can do with them I'm tempted to keep it!

I'll post when i can, but not all that often...

Thanks fr the welcome, I'll guaruntee that from the pics in your avatar that both your cars are in better nick than mine...

Thursday the car arrived on the back of a flatbed, after they drove off i turned the key, and she just clicked. The next day at work (I work in a car dealership so handily have access to a shop and techs), we got a jump pack on her, turned the key and it clicked. one of the guys belted the starter motor round with a hammer and it then it turned, then another guy sprayed brake cleaner in the intake and it fired! SHE LIVES!!!!!

Battery is arriving monday, jerry can of fuel is being bought monday too, and then maybe, just maybe, it'll start without 5 techs hanging out the boot"

Then it's just the 2 pages of MOT fail to work through, and then the modding can begin!!!

My bis is in a great condition now, but it took me some time to make it run as i wanted it to. good luck with repairing it, and post some pics if you have the time, i enjoy seeing broken 126es as much as like-new ones...    :wink:
