hi, now starting to look for 126, my mum had a red 1980 deville years ago and as a kid i loved it, but when i hit 17 i was given a mini and went the bl way for several years! one house, one child, one wedding, two more children, and many years later i drive a 1993 nissan micra every day(because it never goes wrong) but want a play thing to get the spanners and brain working, i think i want a bis as the fire engine seems to be a great project to undertake, and because i would feel more guily chopping up an aircooled one, i have read lots on the forums about fitting a cinq engine, and i am fortunate enough to work for a company that subcontracts laser and water jet cutting, as well as a machine and fabrication shop, apart from weak gearboxes getting in the way, is this the best and most econmical way to make a 126 go well??? thanks in advance,
Mark
