Author Topic: Anyone fitted a Momo or aftermarket wheel on Bis? (Read 2125 times)

Struggling to get the horn push to work. The push on the Momo needs an earth which the original did not have, also cant get the self cancelling indicators to work. Wondering if its the wrong boss I have, the splines are the same but concerned its not going on far enough to touch the contact strip.... help!! Any advice appreciated?

I have the same problems, where did you get your boss Ebay? If so that where I got mine. My indicators do cancel some of the time but they were always dodgy anyway, turning off when you don't want them to I'd just live with it. As for horn push I have relocated it onto the dash with a new push button.

yea ebay. Its a bummer cause I have a cracking Momo with centre push and cant use it. Wonder if a different boss would sort it?

mountney wheel and boss here, works fine (pity about the rest of the car though), just 1 wire and the horn push earths it through the steering column.

Ihave a horn push from a Ferrari 308, which has a MOMO wheel and that works in a simlar way.

On my old de-ville i just cut the spokes off the original wheel, kept the default horn push and used that as a mount for a another mountney with no boss.
