Front suspension mount (lower bracket, not block) x 1
« on: April 01, 2008, 09:07:00 PM »
Does anyone have a spare?
After undoing 3 of the 4 bolts holding the spring in place, I noticed the final nut was rounded off and would not come off.
After an unsuccessful attempt with the grinder, I ended up bending and forcing the lower mount off. (Unbelievably the stud remained in place, though a little scarred by the angle grinder!)

Needless to say, I am now a mounting bracket short and cannot put on the new spring!
Any help much appreciated.

Good call. I will see what I can get. In the mean time, I still have the green 126 sitting in the driveway without an engine, so I may borrow one from that until I source another. Just wanna get the bloody thing on the road again, before the MOT runs out at the end of the month and it will be off again!
