i have tried searching the web for flywheel weights of a standard 126 bis
and that of a standard cinquecento 1litre
the plan is to put the lighter one(bis??) onto the cinq motor i have used lighter flywheels on a few of my vespa's and this has had a very positive effect on the motor it rev's up faster and gives a higher output
for those of you that dont already know the cinq motor is going into my bis along with disc brakes etc any info would be much appreciated thanks!!!

cheers dajwid!these guys have great parts but i mailed them before months ago and only recently got a reply they seem to do alot of engine swaps etc and i imagine they are quite busy but i'll try 'em again.
i took off both flywheels they are almost identical in weight the bis one being thinner but of a larger diameter and with the ring gear positioned for a starter motor on the gearbox side whereas the cc one has the ring gear positioned for the starter motor on the engine side

just one thing to be weary of is, as far as i'm aware the bis flywheel is weighted on one side IE the four drilled holes on the TDC side so would'nt it need balancing if you use it on the 4 pot, or the engine would be out of balance?

deff agree...dont do it......just get your excisting one lightened....oh,and try to get a lighter paddle styleee clutch as well......the whole lot including all rotating parts need to balenced again as well.......
