Due to a change in jobs i have to sell my beloved 126 :sad:
Since i bought it ive spent a lot of time and money on it getting it to a reliable state.
The facts: 1987 Fiat 126 brown,in rosso scuro maroon.
Mot untill October 2008
Tax untill April 2008
41k miles
Body work is overall in good condition,the only main rust points being:
front lower valance,small hole under wheel well,could be easily patched.
rust beneath front bootlid hinge area,not serious,just needs sanding and repainting.
bubbling and rust behind each corner under the rear bumper 1/4 panels.
small piece of wheel arch inner wheelarch missing about 2 inches long,easy to repair.
very good tyres all round.
Thats about it,all the 126 problem areas round the screens are perfect.
floor had a 3 inch square patch near the front wheel arch,no other rot.
one or two small dents on nose and bonnet,and odd scratches etc,fornt panel has been stone chipped for a bit more protection.
Interior is as good as you will find,all trim in very clean condition,seats have no rips or damage and no sagging.
Has recently had a full service,including:
engine oil change
gearbox oil change
new plugs
new air filter
new plug leads
new points
new condensor
new battery
new genuine wasted spark coil at a cost of £50!
new gear lever boot
Starts and runs well,a little light smoke occasionally but nothing bad,looks like its been looked after in its life.occasional knock from rear end when lifting off the gas,prob tired gearbox mounts.
ive also greased the kingpins and repainted the front suspension.
New halogen headlight bulbs.
comes with original jack and full toolkit
Everything works,very fun to drive,excellent brakes,still gets up to 60 easily.Also has valuable reg plate if thats your thing,great if your called dave!
