Widened them old school way by cutting the lip off, welding about an inch and a half inbetween and then welding the lip back on. It's been interesting...
But the latest saga is the sad fact I may have to move my little BIS on as my dad is full of ****. He said he wanted it, now it just sits...still in my parking space! Pity coz it's a fine example and memories of 85mph in it will always stay fresh in my memory.
I have to start concerntrating on the Air-cooled if I am to ever finnish it.
Most of the welding is done now, just need to tidy-up and then hopefully paint her a nice red (always wanted a red one).
Engine runs sweet, breaks work etc etc just need to get focused and hopefully work will calm down a bit as autumn/spring is our busy time (work in agriculture).
When I get it sorted I'm going to a meet and I owe Mick a pint or 10 I'm sure!
