Alloy Wheels Paint
« on: July 07, 2007, 01:28:18 AM »
Hi,
I have got a set of Cromodora Berttone alloys, they have been sent to a company to be sand blasted as they have a lot of coats of paint and I was wondering what colour would look better in my 126 Racing Red. my car looks original and probably would be better to have them grey.
Any help.
Thanks
Jorge

i would stick them in either a very light silver or to be really bold in the same tone of gold paint as the chromadoras on old ferraris then they will look spanking. if not go down daves route and go for flourecent yellow!!

may be a little late getting my two peneth in but Id get them powder coated if you can, painting works well with steel wheels but powder looks better/lasts much longer on alloy....
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

Hi,
Your looks very nice dave, very sporty.
I am going to try to have them light silver as Mick mencioned, I can always change if don`t like, i did not have a lot of time to think as i want to have them fitted  and  ready for Uxbridge show.
Thanks for all the help.
