hi all,im looking to fit a canvas sunroof into my 650,i really would like to fit an original Fiat item,has anyone scrapped a car and kept all the bits?,the canvas's come up on ebay sometimes but i need all the trim amd channel parts as well......here's hopeing!

hi Dave, does the fiat 500 one fit the 126? i have the canvas for a 500, and trhe rusty metal frame, i assume its completly different.

The original Fiat ones are not good quality. Mine had a Britax roof fitted from new and its superb. I think you can still get them or maybe thats Webastos roofs. Not sure but its a better roof than the Fiat one. The 500 roof is so small too.
1987 Fiat 126 FSM, alloys, clear lights, Polish tat accessories... love it!

The canvas part is pretty much identical to the 500s but the frame is slightly different. The roofs may be small, but the sun roof opening is larger than average due to its simple construction (ie just a hole). Axel Gerstl sell 126 sunroofs.

It is really is just a hole with a lip around it so would be very easy to fabricate. It would be worth finding a sun-roofed 126 or 500 to have a look at before you start.
