FIAT 500L REGRETFUL SALE .... ANYBODY INTERESTED?

hello there , i have a regretful sale of my fiat 500l (1972 tax exempt) car ..  tha i have been gradually restoring for a number of months now ..

the car is for sale as follows :

full log book v5 in my name
various new panels throughout
all the welding done
car sits in grey primer at the moment
i will supply the 2k ferrari red paint to finish her off in the future
all new brake lines/pipes/cylinders replaced
a massive amount of spares including
4 maybe more RHD lights with lenses
spare wiring loom etc etc
2 x fiat 500 engines on with a gearbox
1 x 650 cc fiat 126 engine (  with another spare in peices)
6 or 7 maybe more fiat 500 wheels and tires
3 or 4 boxes of spares aquired over the years brakes, carbs, etc etc
2 full sets of glass mostly with rubbers
various workshop manuals / paperwork etc etc

basically anything and everything ive aquired for my little 500 over the past year or so .

very sorry to see my little 500 go ..

circumstances beyond my control have brought this around .

nothing to do with your latest sale rich :wink: ,but chris,thats a horrible pic you have under your posts.the death of a 126.......check out the angle of the front wheels as it hits the ground................they used to destroy dodge chargers the same way in dukes of hazzard.............i would think the spring mounts and suspension would be ripped off/pushed back into the body shell...................i cant bear to look!!!

haha yer i noticed those front wheels, good way to add camber!

I saw a programme a while back they just trash those dukes of hazard cars at their rallies by doing jumps off ramps. Still looks good, and they are two a penny in America.  unlike the 126!

wrong time of year too i think, nobody can be boteherd when xmas is coming up

Too many rebuilt cars around at the moment for the 2000 mark. Most buyers want a car to drive away. A car in bits always scares people away.
Personally I would rather buy a crap drive away than a partly finished project.

Not having a dig, just my view for what it is worth. My freind was after a 500 got a tidy one for 1500, needs a bit of work bit as he said 'he knows it is all there'.

I really hope you get a buyer, Are you really sure you can't get it finished?

hello there, im selling the car as i seem to be finding excuses not to finish ot myself ..  and being winter and all and not having a garage i would rather sell now than keep it over the winter and all the good work ive done deterirate over the winter .

only a few small jobs needs doing .. its a runner and everything .

im sure he knows a shiny paintjob can hide alot of nasty stuff underneath ..

maybe if you just put the car together it would sell, but I suppose it means finishing it.

and the reason why im selling is because i am finding excuses not todo the jobs needed to finish her

and with the winter coming and not having a garage i would rather sell now , than all my good work goto waste ..


also you comment on the paint job ??

THERE ISNT ONE ? ITS IN 2K HIGH BUILD PRIMER

i will and are supplying the paint to finish her off if the buyer whats the colour ive chosen which is ferrari red ..
