Final call for my little yellow de ville...
I have an engine for it now, but it needs a gearbox or the one it has rebuilding. All gears okay but very noisy.
Main problems as I said are:
rotten sills, rear wing, roof (behind sunroof).
broken swing arm
sheared brake pipes
king pins
front spring has sagged badly
inside is scruffy
window trims and seals are shot
door handles have been screw-drivered
rot on doors and drivers door has a big dent
A takers? or anyone want any parts - all free - will break this weekend if its not going as a job lot. The engine and box can go with the car, but I'll keep them for next one if the car is going in bits.
Really sad to see it go, but have been trying to sort for two years and bits are falling off faster than I can afford to put them on.
