Throttle linkage

Has anyone got a spare throttle rod that runs from the carb to top of the fan cover on an air cooled,mine bustimacated yesterday and had to do a running repair with a bit of mutton cloth (Mcguiver has nothing on me).

Stop press David thanks for your swift reply got it fixed yesterday.Found two ends that operate exhaust flaps on a db9 and they fit perfectly (and they are metal). :D Cheers anyway mate.

now thats EXACTLY how i go about things!!! DB9 flap parts eh............my (modded) linkage for the 40DCOE is from a rover 3.5 V8...........i also have some wheelchair bits on mine.................really fab small bakelite gear knob(ex ministry w/chair brake knob) um,and the ram for the rear deck is a 24volt legrest ram from a power chair................... :cool:

Daniel Craigs got nothing on me. Watch out the Q departments next wepon is a 126 with lasers coming out the engine cover louvres.
