Still looking for a 126 for sale. Most important is that the car is not rotten. I don't mind body panels, wings, sills or under the spare wheel even the rusty patch on the lower right hand corner of the rear window.
But I'm not interested in welding in a whole new floor or inner wings.
Don't even care if it is a bis, although an aircooled would be better.
car must be within 100 miles of Stansted Airport. (am I asking too much).
Pre 1990 would be the best.

No silly money, no crap as I will be poking holes in it with a screwdriver before I hand over any cash

There must be someone out there, the car will have a good home and be rebuilt to it's former glory.

I know bring mine over!!!! (I have a new plan, will let you know as soon as I meet mr 126 next week)

Same here really. Looking for an air cooled version, not the Deville, but ok with regular sunroof. Happy to do some minor welding and new panels but must have ok floor and inner panels as said by dajwid. I'm at the other end of the country, north east england, Middlesbrough. The car will be fully rebuilt - but don't want loads of bodywork to do other than panels. Small budget, but tonnes of enthusiasm :)

Currently looking for a Fiat 126 air cooled car as a project car. Half way through the Haynes manual and on an automotive college course :)
