Hi Derek. Have yous till got your 126? I saw it on eBay and thought it sold. Or is this a new project?

As to the vent. From memory there are some nuts holding them in place.

Yes still got it, was getting really fed up with waiting for people to do work for me and had over 1000 views in two days but one was a good friend of mine who convinced me to not sell it and he offered to help

There are some good people about  :D

I have fumbled about this morning under the dash and cannot find any nuts, but I also think they are there somewhere, better keep searching

Don't give up, Derek, I waited nearly 2 years for one of mine and then it got all done in less than 6 weeks!  ;)

Best way to remove that vent is from inside the bonnet. There some little tabs on the back of the vent that need pushing in (two at the top and two at the bottom) squeeze these and push the vent into the cabin :thumbup

I'm glad you kept it and really like what you've done with the car 8). I was tempted when it come up for sale just didn't have the funds.
Hopefully we'll see you at one of the shows in it soon.

Gadge

many thanks, I will have a go at that, would be nice to get the vent out the way for now to smooth off the dash panel,

Be nice to be at a show with it this year, I am so close just really the wiring to be completed.
