Really don't know but as spares are hard to find in the UK and plentyfull here there must be a way.

Most spares are easily obtainable here in the UK, in fact I cant think of anything unobtainable really except certain genuine body parts and interiors. What we cant get is accessories like mudflaps, body kits etc, these tend to be easy to find in Germany. I once had a contact in Kracow that used to send me stuff and I would post him Euros by return, which he seemed to love! To be fair, a lot of eastern european parts that arent genuine fiat can be a little bit poor quality, as can many Italian non genuine parts. Many exhaust systems sold here break or fail very early on for instance. What I dont understand is why Fiat UK cant or wont get 126 parts that are available from Poland!

This is just amazing, that we have access to parts from poland. I would give you a shopping list if i could buddy.

Dajwid what are you doing job wise out in poland, if you dont mind me asking? just interested. sorry just read your profile, what are you teaching? english i asume.

Yes teaching English, have my own school also run Summer adventure camps for kids, in the process of buying a farm and running b&b (ideal for shopping trips pop over doss on my farm get your parts and pop home

Regarding Fiatfsm's comment : Glad you have no trouble getting parts, I am not trying to make any money just thought some parts maybe cheaper here. I don't know. Didn't think Fiat dealers in Britain bothered with 126 parts.
Certainly engine tuning is cheaper a local company spacialising in modding fiats for rally quoted 200 pounds for an engine rebuild claiming 25-30% more power. Offering to lower by 30mm and fit Bilstein gas struts. Don't know about UK prices but seems cheap to me.
A recon head is about 6 pounds a used engine about 15.00 Pounds. Full body kit skirts, boot spoiler and both bumpers about 20.00.
If you can find them for that price in the UK great.
Postage from Poland is really cheap shipping from Germany is not.

Please dont feel I was having a go, I wasnt at all. Ive never had any probs getting hold of anything aircooled wise in the UK, although BIS stuff is getting hard or impossible to get. Its great you offered the help, sorry if I came accross wrong, no offence meant.

Found a few BIS engines for sale on a Polish auction site. About 100 pounds each with rest of car still attached!

What is it with the Bis? The local 126 shop only hasa few parts for Bis and told me he won't bother getting in more stock. Plenty of used parts about if anyone wants any, I'm looking out for the bits you wanted if you could send me the part numbers it would be really great.

i have been reading the previous posts and was wondering if you could give me a rough price for a bis front windscreen and postage to good old yorkshire, as i have been quoted ?94 from the RAC to find a replacement in the uk and it seems a tad steep  :?:

also you mentioned that body kits are available for the 126 in poland, do you have any pictures or info about these ?
