Silly Question Maybe?

As you may know I'm currently attemting to source an air cooled 126.

Anyway, through a friend of a friend, I have been told about a possible available such car - all good so far!

Now here is the silly question bit

I'm informed (as I haven't seen it personally) its a 1983/84 126 'Brown' which I assumed to be the colour - thing is its blue!  Is the 'Brown' just a special edition run and available in other colours maybe and if so what colours were produced?  Or perhaps just a repaint by a previous owner?

 Loads of the 126s were registered as Brown even thought they weren't. It's a DVLA thing.
 The Brown is a limited edition with specific features. There was also a Black, Silver and Red edition.
 There is also some cars that have the brown interior as on the limited edition, but they are standard models. The ones I've seen were either a creamy colour or maroon.

So its quite possible to have a 126 Brown on the V5 with the actual original colour being something else, in this case blue.  Makes sense I suppose - not!
