no distributor
« on: April 11, 2017, 04:39:56 PM »
I have a 652cc 126 motor which does not have a distributor and does not have a hole to fit a distributor into.
It is the motor which takes it's timing from a sensor on the oil flinger housing.
Can someone please tell me what the timing settings should be?
Also, can someone please tell me when this particular engine spec was first introduced ?
Thanks

Hi,

You likely avec a 126p model EL/ELX engine, only version fitted with an electronic ignition.
The timing settings varies (10° or 4° I think) depending on the relevant nanoplex. It is documented on http://rezerwa126.pl but the website is down for me at the moment.
