Fiat 126
« on: March 14, 2017, 07:09:24 PM »
I love my Fiat 126.  Best thing I ever did was to buy one. I mean, I love my 500 as well, but the 126 is special. It's been a life changer. I wish I had been of age when they first came out and could have enjoyed the 126 journey in real time. That would have been amazing. 126's are definitely the best. I don't know why. But they are are.

BV I have got an image in my head of you draped over your 126 saying "I love you" and a dozen empty bottles of Black Sheep Ale rolling off the bonnet  ;D
I think that I have a more healthy relationship with mine. I love it when it does what I want but hate it when all the love and cash you spend on it and it will not play ball  >:(
So the green machine is out on the naughty step at the moment!

Life is too short to fall out with a 126, Rusty, speak to it nicely, tease it with the promise of proper up North beer and it will never let you down! I miss you, you know, I'm probably going to have to come to one of the car meets or the Xmas party that we seem to do each year about June time to catch up and share some real ale!  ;)

I must admit, I do love my 126 Bis also. There are times were I felt like selling it due to the fact I hardly drive it. As soon as I see it, then drive it - what was I thinking? Despite my recently acquired Fiat 600D, the 126 holds a special place. OMG, I am becoming like BV.

I haven't looked into the gear shift issue, but I will have it fixed for sure quite soon.

Wouldn't use such a strong word as 'love', but when it works, it's the best car on the road.

Lol. True. More like a strong attachment. It is on the naughty step at the moment due to the gear shift issue.
