Britax Ragtop Sunroof
« on: November 10, 2016, 10:23:53 PM »
I want to put a Britax sunroof in my 126. I removed the one pictured out of a rusting niki and due to the rusted state of some of the fixings sheered a few bolts. Also need a new handle (like the one pictured). Have run into a brick wall even on the internet am struggling to find anyone with new or used parts anywhere (certainly nothing here in Australia). Are these roofs common in the northern hemisphere? And does anybody have any suggestions on where I might try and search for parts?

A bit of googling shows some British suppliers, I'm not sure on the dimensions of the sunroof but there are people still doing 34x34 for an mgb I think. Seem to be boat builders as well a lot of them...

I've had similar thoughts about fitting a proper Webasto but reckon modifying a 500 frame which you can buy new would be a simpler task if a little less secure.

Ford KA's have a electric version and as a ford KA is virtually worthless it could be worth a try?
