With a bit of luck we'll be there, although not in the 126 unless I can get the fuel system back together and an MOT between now and then...

We'll definitely be there with the full contingent of females!

I got the 126 running and put it in for an MOT this afternoon, it failed on emissions but I might be able to sort that out tomorrow...

Failed on emissions? You should have a word with your MOT tester.
It`s like when they failed our old Fiat Spider on emissions, took it to another garage and they said it doesn`t matter and it doesn`t have to be tested.
Imagine all the old gas guzzlers. How would they pass a modern emission test?

Hope the Midvillesb gang can make it in the 126 tomorrow ;).

It was the CO content but a quick tweak with the mixture this morning got it down below 4.5 so it's got a fresh ticket!

I'm just giving it a quick service now but I think I've found the  reason (or one of the reasons) for the cutting out problem: the air ducting to the fan housing had become detached so it was just recirculating hot air from the engine bay and presumably causing it to overheat. I'll give it a proper shake down tonight but it's looking good for tomorrow.

Great to meet up with all the guys, and must add gals, as with Mike's wife and four daughters I think that the men were outnumbered. Lad and the ever present "I will organise your parking space" Lynette in the very nice Brown. Derek whose special 126 will soon be blowing off the folks in the Slough and Windsor area, sorry your Maj and Pete finally fell out of bed and did the trip down from Leeds. Good chat and some Fiat treasure changed hands. Official photographer will no doubt post some pics  ;D

I was there, but not with my 126 Bis. I bumped into Mike and family. I was with a friend of mine who restored an Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV. Unfortunately, he opted to leave the event as soon as it rained. I'll definitely go to this event next year as it is unbelievably close to where I live.
