Plus as is the norm...mine was the only 126 at the show and had lots of people asking about it. Unlike all the MGs, e-types, Stags and Minis. All nice but too common. Plus everyone knew or owned one of my car in the past.

Exactly. Classic mini's still get attention when you see them out on the road, and rightly so, they're the real minis. But the 126 has that extra card on the table, in that it's not as well known. I've been told it's "like a boxy mini that looks weird without a grill"

I get exactly the same when I show mine, there are no other 126's, which makes it unique.You also  get people that take an interest as they used to own one.

Love the deck chairs by the way.

Gutted I didn't go now! Had a wedding reception the night before so couldn't/wouldn't have been sensible. Weather definitely turned up at least!
