I move to the UK in September.
I will be looking for an aircooled. Must be pre 1989. No rotten innerwings!
In fact the less rot the better.Not too bothered about mechanical within reason.
South east England prefered.
I am thinking hundreds not thousands :

Bringing one over from Poland will cost me too much. My 126 I have will stay here in storage.

Dajwid, are you sure you won't regret this? I think you should get a Happy End and bring it here. I mean, a year 2000 aircooled 126 would be the coolest thing on the streets of the South East. The girls would love you and the guys would look up to you as their superior.

even if its pricey to bring one back id still do it,you have the choice of the crop there in poland (most peoples dream on here)....why come to the UK and have to put up with rubbish?, a good aircooled is going to cost you there (uk) even then,it will have a history of indifference or worse,abuse from the owner/garage.

get yourself a minter mate,you wont regret it,then buy hudsons tuned motor for it........................... :cool: truely.....you will be a god

Year 2000, original paint, says has a couple of tiny spots need doing.
roll cage, alloys, bla bla bla. Now just need to persuade the wife that another 126 is a good idea. Will look on Sunday. The same guy has a shortened 126 for sale as well.

As I said a pint, when I move to the UK this Summer. Sure we will meet at one of the VW or 126 meets. My first will be Brighton breeze as move end of August, Sept.
